Be a part of the PLANEVIEW CONNECTION at Chapel Hill Fellowship! Below are current volunteer opportunities.
PLANEVIEW CLEANUP DAY IS APRIL 27!
Come on over to Planeview on April 27! We will enjoy some fresh air and get a little exercise while we beautify a residential area of Planeview that is targeted for improvement. We will help residents remove trash and bulky waste, remove dilapidated chain link fence and poles, cut down volunteer trees, remove downed tree limbs and debris, remove weedy vine from chain link fence, and generally clean up the area.
Volunteers need to provide gloves and yard tools (rake, woody shrub trimmers, hedge shears, shovel, etc.). Also needed are weed trimmers, wheel barrows, wire cutters, saws for cutting down volunteer trees, and pole saw for trimming trees. A wood chipper would also be helpful, as would pickup trucks that can haul debris.
This event is appropriate for almost all ages…great for families! We will be joining other churches of the LOVE Wichita event as we spread across Wichita in a day of mission. If registered by April 17, you can order a LOVE Wichita t-shirt. Or wear any blue shirt. While a blue shirt is preferred to help identify you as a volunteer, it is not required.
TO REGISTER: Go to LOVEwichita.org. Click on CHURCH in the blue menu bar at top of the home page and select Chapel Hill, or scroll through the church listing at the bottom of the home page and select Chapel Hill. Click on the REGISTER TODAY button at the bottom of the Chapel Hill page.
